Job Summary:

Starbucks, one of America’s most beloved coffee brands, is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated part-time Barista to join our team during morning shifts (under 4 hours). The ideal candidate will promote coffee consumption by creating a positive experience for our customers. Job Description:

As a Barista, you will be responsible for serving all products with friendly, individualized attention towards each customer. You will also be responsible for educating customers about our premium coffees and teas. The Barista fulfills any other duties the Store Manager or Shift Supervisor assigns and represents Starbucks in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas.

2. Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment.

3. Describe menu items to customers or suggest products that might appeal to them.

4. Order, receive, or stock supplies or retail products.

5. Provide customers with product details, such as coffee blend or preparation descriptions.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Experience in a retail environment preferred.

3. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.

4. Strong interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to work as part of a team.

6. Ability to build relationships.
