Job Description:
As a Fitness Trainer, you will be responsible for conducting fitness orientations and personal training sessions, providing motivational support for club members, and maintaining a professional and safe environment. You will be the face and the representation of Golds Gyms philosophy of dedication, passion, and results.
Responsibilities:
– Deliver one-on-one personal training sessions, group classes, and fitness orientations.
– Develop individualized exercise programs consistent with our members personal fitness and exercise goals.
– Continually monitor and assist members to ensure proper form when exercising.
– Handle member concerns when applicable.
– Maintain clean and organized fitness floors and equipment.
– Participate in all staff-related meetings and other required activities.
– Assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all members.
Requirements:
– Current CPR/AED certification.
– Nationally recognized personal training certification.
– Excellent communication and customer service skills.
– Ability to design and implement effective fitness regimes for clients.
– Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
Education and Experience:
– High School Diploma or equivalent.
– Minimum of 1 year of experience in the fitness industry as a personal trainer.
– Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Fitness or related field is a plus.
