Job Summary:
FedEx, a global leader in logistics and express delivery services, is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Delivery Drivers in New Mexico. Job Description:
As a FedEx Home Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our company and the vital link between FedEx and our valued customers. You will be responsible for delivering packages to homes and businesses on your designated route, ensuring all shipments are delivered on time and accurately.
Responsibilities:
– Safely operate a commercial vehicle, following all FedEx, state, and federal transportation regulations.
– Load and unload packages of varying sizes and weights (up to 70 lbs.)
– Accurately scan and deliver packages to customers.
– Provide excellent customer service, resolve customer issues, and maintain a positive company image.
– Complete daily vehicle inspections and reports.
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer signatures.
– Follow all safety procedures and standards.
Requirements:
– Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
– Must pass a background check and drug test.
– Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
– Must be able to lift and carry packages up to 70 lbs.
– Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
– Prior delivery driver experience is a plus, but not required.
Educational Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
