Night Shift CT Technologist

Overview:

Carilion Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Night Shift CT Technologist to join our team at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. As a Night Shift CT Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform professional duties involved in a variety of... technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis of patients of all ages.

• Apply knowledge of growth and development to appropriately care for all patients served.
• Operate highly specialized, technical equipment to obtain quality images.
• Perform duties associated with processing patients, including scheduling, registration, file management, and computer processing skills.
• Evaluate and position patients with a high degree of professional ethics, care, courtesy, patience, and safety.
• Comply with all Carilion Clinic and Imaging policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in the training of students and staff as assigned.
• Maintain ARRT registry and enhance personal and professional growth through participation in educational opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.

• Experience: CT experience preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Must be CT registered within one year of hire. ARRT registry/valid BLS certification.
• Other: Good interpersonal, technical skills, and flexibility in assignments.
