Sr Quality Engineer - Remote

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and reliability of our web applications. You’ll be responsible for performing exploratory, functional, and regression testing to identify defects and areas for improvement. Your keen analytical skills will help you perform root cause analysis on defects, and you will produce clear, concise bug reports that guide our development team in delivering the best possible product. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct exploratory, functional, and regression testing on web applications to identify defects and ensure quality. • Perform thorough root cause analysis on identified defects, collaborating with developers to ensure issues are resolved efficiently. • Create and maintain detailed, clear, and concise bug reports to communicate issues to cross-functional teams. • Actively participate in Agile development cycles, including requirements analysis, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups. • Collaborate with... developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that testing is aligned with product goals and requirements. • Continuously refine and improve testing processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications: • Experience in quality assurance or a related field, with a strong understanding of web application testing. • Proficiency in identifying, documenting, and analyzing defects, with a methodical approach to problem-solving. • Familiarity with Agile development processes and tools, such as Jira or similar project management software. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise documentation and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. • Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality software products. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities.
