Senior Demand and Supply Chain Planner

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled individual to enhance our supply chain strategy... ? *Your Role** In this position, you will be centrally involved in our supply chain operations, working closely with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, and Suppliers. Your responsibilities will span scheduling and order management to inventory optimization, ensuring efficient and smooth processes to achieve our business objectives. ? *Key Responsibilities** ?
Order Management:
Schedule, allocate, and approve sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing. ?
Supply Planning:
Adjust customer ship dates based on supply availability and create actionable plans for order resolution, including revisions, cancellations, and expedite requests. ?
Stock Coordination:
Manage stock movement between inventory locations and recommend substitute materials for out-of-stock items. ?
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Logistics and Customer Service teams to address carrier changes and shipping challenges, while executing supply plans aligned with both short-term and long-term goals. ?
Inventory Optimization:
Assess inventory levels and demand run rates to improve stock management and balance trade-offs among inventory turns, product availability, and freight costs. ?
Raw Material Management:
Coordinate raw material transfers, ensure components are ready for timely order fulfillment, and manage supplier interactions to align with demand and production schedules. ?
Continuous Improvement:
Assist in various supply chain functions, focusing on KPI maintenance, new product supply chain readiness, customer requests, and ad-hoc analyses. ? *Qualifications** ?
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years in supply chain and order management. ?
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA is an advantage. ?
Skills:
Proficient in MS Excel; familiarity with PowerPoint and Word is beneficial. Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, especially NetSuite, is preferred. ?
Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels. ?
Adaptability:
Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, managing shifting priorities, and meeting deadlines with limited information. ?
Analytical Skills:
Excellent analytical abilities with strong attention to detail. ?
Team Player:
