Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Full Time Virtual Sign Language Interpreter for a school district in Oregon. The Interpreter will be responsible for providing sign language interpretation services to facilitate communication between individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and others. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting virtual meetings, sessions, and appointments, ensuring clear and accurate communication for all parties involved. Qualifications Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter in Oregon is required. Experience in providing sign language interpretation services Strong knowledge of deaf culture and communication needs Excellent visual, spatial, and auditory skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Experience in educational settings is a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills Apply Job!
