About The Role This position offers remote work opportunities in a dynamic contact center environment. We are seeking a dedicated Business Insurance Agent - Intermediate for our Commercial Lines department. Key Responsibilities • Engage in inbound sales to advise business owners on insurance and risk management. • Use a consultative approach to understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions. • Build and maintain strong relationships with members, non-members, and insurance carriers. • Ensure compliance with insurance standards and minimize errors through meticulous documentation. • Provide accurate risk management solutions based on industry trends and regulatory changes. • Utilize Agency Management Systems and CRM platforms to select appropriate products and carriers. • Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate endorsements, renewals, and other underwriting decisions. • Perform Insurance to Value (ITV) calculations for diverse property types. • Handle account services including policy changes, renewals, and cancellations. Required Qualifications • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma. • 1 year of insurance sales and service experience, preferably in commercial insurance. • Valid Property and Casualty insurance license for home state or ability to obtain within 90 days. Preferred Qualifications • 2 years of Commercial Lines Insurance account management experience. • Experience with Agency Management Systems, Salesforce, and multiple carrier environments. • Active P&C General Lines License for home state.
