All employees are also considered for an annual raise, commensurate with performance and company commitment. About this position: We are looking to hire a DevSecOps Engineer. In this role you will deploy applications in on-prem and AWS environments, maintain the DevSecOps templates and pipeline, troubleshoot deployments, automate tasks, ensure policy compliance, monitor and support installed applications, systems and DevSecOps deployments. Join our team! Salary Range: 110k-130k - commensurate with candidate's skills, experience, location, and qualifications. On a day to day basis you will: ? Operate and maintain applications, deliver end-to-end automation of deployment and monitoring of DevSecOps pipeline in on-premises and/or AWS environments. ? Support application deployment across different platforms. ? Work closely with the development team to create an automated continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) system. ? Develop and automate GitLab CI/CD pipelines and tasks via scripting/coding and automation tools. ? Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools. ? Troubleshoot deployment issues and resolve them promptly. ? Automate tasks and develop custom scripts to enhance operational efficiency and lower the human intervention time and tasks. ? Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices. Generate reports from single or multiple systems. ? Update documentation (e.g., SOPs/TTPs, policies, etc.) to ensure compliance with the organization's policies and requirements. ? Identify and recommend appropriate changes to DevSecOps infrastructure to improve performance, reliability, and availability. ? Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity. Required Education/Qualifications: ? Security Clearance: Secret security clearance fully adjudicated. ? Education: Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent field, or equivalent experience/combined education ? Experience Level: 3-6 years of demonstrated experience showcasing expertise in managing and administering the technologies identified. ? Required skills with 3 to 6 years' experience: Ansible, GitLab, DevSecOps, Terraform, Nexus/Maven, Red Hat Linux (RHEL) 7, ? Working knowledge with 1 years' experience: Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, SonarQube ? Advanced analytical and troubleshooting skills with good problem-solving abilities. ? Experience working with and supporting Agile development team and DevSecOps environments. ? Ability to multi-task, work collaboratively as well as independently. Preferred Qualifications: ? Security Certification preferred ? Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified) to demonstrate expertise in Amazon Web Services. ? Experience working with DoD systems, showcasing familiarity with defense-related projects and security requirements, STIG and SCAP to hardening and establishing configuration baselines.
