Senior Software Engineer, Guest Displays and Platforms

Join The Guest Displays & Platforms team owns the main product details page (PDP) that brings together all the listing details, and anchors the guest booking flow as well as guest pricing and availability across all Airbnb product surfaces. Our work directly and materially impacts every single guest’s journey to booking travel and experiences on Airbnb! As a Senior Software Engineer in Guest Displays & Platforms, you will drive projects, work cross-functionally with PMs, Designers, Data Scientists, and other other engineering teams. We’re looking for an individual who is passionate about owning and improving the foundation upon which our products are built. The Difference You Will Make • Own key company level problem statements and drive critical projects • Lead the scoping phase, the technical requirements and the implementation of the new functionality • Partner closely with other Engineering teams and cross functional partners including PM, Design, Data, and TPM. • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning Your Expertise • 6+ years industry experience • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience • Experience in building and scaling high-quality and high-traffic products (or systems) with a focus on operational excellence • Ability to evaluate technical approaches and design product solutions to solve real-world problems. • Ability to drive alignment, manage projects and effectively collaborate with stakeholders. • Mentorship to junior developers Your Location: This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
