Full Stack Developer: Employment Type: Full Time (Exempt... Location: Falls Church, VA (remote within the DMV) The Role: Tesla Government is looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to join our team and build new features for our client-facing websites. We’re looking for a generalist who likes learning new technologies. You will get to work on a relatively new project with a modern microservice architecture using a tech stack that includes Java, Python, Typescript, Spring Boot, React, MySQL and AWS. Our agile team has daily stand-ups, bi-weekly sprint plannings, and weekly deployments. About Us: Tesla Government Inc. Required Qualifications: • US Citizen and eligible for a security clearance • 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer • Computer science or related engineering degree from a 4-year university or equivalent work experience • Experience writing production code in a team setting • Excellent communication skills • Knowledge of Java web development, preferably with Spring Boot • Experience working with a modern Javascript framework, preferably React • Strong command of TypeScript Desired Qualifications: • Familiarity working in an IDE such as IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, NetBeans, and/or Visual Studio Code • Microservices or SOA experience • Strong Linux (terminal) skills • Strong SQL skills To apply for this position, please include a resume and cover letter to include the following: • A statement confirming US CITIZENSHIP and eligibility to obtain a security clearance • A short description of a development project you have worked on, your role, the outcome • A code sample is appreciated or just your GitHub profile Recruiter and development service representatives need not apply: Salary: The wage range for this role takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
