Infrastructure Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide support for day-to-day operations, project delivery, process improvement and M&A integration for cloud and on-premises systems as part of a global IT organization. Participate and provide thought leadership and execution on the design, build and run of corporate infrastructure systems in such a manner as to meet or exceed industry security, performance and availability... standards. Secondary tasks may include involvement in the implementation or day-to-day operations of new infrastructure solutions, participation in the creation and or maintenance of policies, standards, and procedures as well as conducting infrastructure health and performance audits/assessments. The Infrastructure Administrator is expected to be fully aware of the enterprise’s infrastructure goals as established by its stated policies, procedures and guidelines and to actively work towards upholding those goals. Responsibilities: • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of current cloud infrastructure technologies, including Microsoft O365/Azure and Google Cloud Platform. • Administer virtual and physical systems, including Microsoft Windows, Red Hat, and other Linux systems, as well as VMWare ESX and MS Hyper-V environments in a datacenter setting. • Administer hardware platforms and appliances such as Nutanix, HP, Dell, Cisco UCS, NetApp, etc. • Manage and optimize infrastructure monitoring solutions like SolarWinds. • Administer Palo Alto Cortex and SCCM enterprise infrastructure systems, handling workstation/server patching and end-point protection globally. • Administer enterprise messaging systems and filters like MS Exchange, MS Exchange Online, Proofpoint, and Checkpoint mail security. • Ensure adherence to Change Management policies, documentations, scheduling, and coordination with impacted sites and customers. • Participate in Incident Response teams to resolve operational outages and security threats, providing 24/7 on-call support for global corporate infrastructure. • Contribute to Enterprise Project teams by providing infrastructure support and architectural design feedback. • Develop departmental documentation on standards, policies, knowledge articles, and asset. Required • 5+ years of sys admin experience • 0365, Azure cloud • Checkpoint for email security • Windows system and server administration • Active Directory • Basic Data center support experience • Bilingual Spanish/English Apply Job!
