Position: Application Engineer II Job Description: Arrow is seeking an Applications Engineer who will assist in the development of EDI based solutions on WebMethods platform in Centennial, CO. In this role, the Applications Engineer will play a critical component in technical solutions delivery while remaining a hands-on expert in WebMethods and design principals. This position will follow a hybrid schedule of 3 days in our office (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) based in Centennial CO and 2 days from home. What You'll Be Doing: Participate in solution discussion with Global Supply Chain internal teams as well external partners and design the optimum integration solution to meet the Global Supply chain business objectives Design and implement technical solutions using WebMethods Integration platform Design and Implement services that process EDI Documents in ANSI X12, EDIFACT and RosettaNet standards Design and develop WebMethods Flat file schemas and transformation logic using... these schemas Ensures that all service development adheres to development standard and guidelines, completed on time and with impeccable quality Provides timely support in troubleshooting defects and providing resolutions Document issues with resolutions and share with team members to improve team productivity and knowledge base Support production deployments and project go-live tasks Actively participate in team meetings and collaborate with other team members to carry out project deliverables Responsible for providing on call support to WebMethods and SOA integration platforms Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite a must Knowledge of B2B (EDI, RosettaNet) a must What We're Looking For: 5+ years of experience using WebMethods Integration Server for designing Integration solutions using various WebMethods adapters such as JDBC adapter, MQ adapters 5+ years of using WebMethods EDI, Trading networks and MWS modules and implementing solutions using the out of the box provided API’s 3+ years basic SQL and PLSQL programming languages Strong knowledge about EDI standards ANSI X12, EDIFACT and RosettaNet and experience in implementing EDI solution with these standards through VAN, AS1, AS2 and AS3 protocols Strong understanding of Integration design principles and design patterns Experience in implementation of integrations using IBM MQ technology Strong understanding of implementing API’s using HTTP protocol using REST and SOAP standards Strong understanding of API authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth, API Key, Basic Authentication etc Knowledge about FTP, SFTP, FTPS protocol and experience in implementing integration solutions with the same Knowledge about cryptographic principles such as public & private keys, hashing functions and standards around the same Knowledge of Oracle 12c SOA platform is a plus Knowledge of UNIX Shell scripting and Linux systems Strong experience in different XML technologies such as XSD, XSLT and XML parsers Understanding of development tools and processes, source control, versioning tools like Bitbucket, JIRA, FlexDeploy and ServiceNow Experience / Education Typically requires 5–7 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience.
