Elementary Teacher - Remote | WFH

Roles And Responsibilities As an Elementary Lead Instructor, you'll: Demonstrate familiarity with various learning platforms and course content across multiple subject areas for grades K-2, including reading/literacy, math, science, and history. Engage in daily lesson planning and set instructional goals tailored to students' needs. Collaborate with grade-level teams at assigned schools for daily and weekly planning. Participate in Professional Learning Community (PLC) meetings and attend staff Professional Development sessions. Provide grading and feedback on student work under direct supervision. Serve as a liaison between students and teachers to address specific course content queries. Maintain regular communication program management regarding course content and related questions. Review pacing guides with planning groups and supervisors to ensure alignment. Deliver individualized student instruction during core instruction times/schedules. Adhere to all school-based protocols, safety measures, and employee handbook guidelines. Knowledge And Skills We are seeking candidates who can: Demonstrate experience in providing classroom instruction in the assigned content and grade level. Possess a deep understanding of instructional pedagogies and methodologies. Exhibit strong oral and written communication skills. Pay meticulous attention to detail. Work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team. Education And Work Experience Successful candidates will have: A bachelor's degree. Three to five years of experience in providing instruction in the assigned subject area. VA provisional eligibility, meeting requirements defined by the state of VA Department of Education.
