Position Overview

We are seeking a visionary Senior Principal Architect – AdTech Customer Data & Identity to lead the design and implementation of a next‑generation customer identity platform across our advertising technology (AdTech) ecosystem. This is a fully remote, work‑from‑home role that reports to the Head of AdTech Architecture. The ideal candidate will blend deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to turn raw customer data into actionable insights that power highly personalized marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and deliver a comprehensive customer identity solution aligned with arenaxflex’s business goals and data‑privacy standards.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the AdTech space to continuously evolve the platform.
  • Leverage data platforms, identity graphs, and universal identifiers (e.g., UID 2.0, Match‑ID) to create unified customer profiles that enable precise audience segmentation.
  • Design and implement robust data ingestion pipelines, ensuring high‑quality, secure, and compliant data collection.
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams—including Marketing, IT, Data Science, and Product—to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Drive data governance, privacy, and security best practices throughout the identity lifecycle.
  • Mentor senior engineers and data architects, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
  • Define performance metrics, monitor system health, and lead ongoing optimization initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of hands‑on experience designing and implementing large‑scale data solutions, with at least 3 years focused on customer identity architecture.
  • Proven track record of building and operating high‑throughput AdTech platforms that support billions of daily events.
  • Deep understanding of data platforms, identity graphs, and universal identifiers (UID 2.0, Match‑ID, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on data collection, storage, and activation.
  • Hands‑on experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud Platform) and modern data processing frameworks (Kafka, Spark, Flink).
  • Expertise in data quality, data cleansing, and data enrichment techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
