Position Overview

arenaflex is currently hiring a Weekend Part-Time Customer Service Representative to join our inbound call center operations team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from your home office while serving customers across the United States. The role offers flexible scheduling, with shifts available throughout both Saturday and Sunday, giving you the freedom to choose the hours that best fit your lifestyle. The expected hours range from approximately 3 to 29 hours per week, depending on shift selection and operational demand. All shift times are listed in Central Standard Time (CST), and you will have the opportunity to select the shift that aligns with your availability and personal commitments.

Available Weekend Shifts (CST):

  • Saturday & Sunday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • Saturdays Only: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • Sundays Only: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • Sundays Only: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Saturdays Only: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Sundays Only: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Saturdays Only: 8:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Midnight)

Key Responsibilities

As a Weekend Part-Time Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your primary mission is to deliver outstanding customer service while accurately processing claim intakes and inquiries. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Customer Service and Claim Intake

  • Prompt and Professional Response: Provide positive customer service and demonstrate technical expertise by responding promptly, accurately, and courteously to all customer information needs.
  • Empathetic Customer Support: Offer genuine empathy and emotional support to customers navigating the claims process, recognizing that many callers are experiencing stressful or difficult situations.
  • Accurate Documentation: Collect and document all claim details provided by the customer into our claim management system with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve customer issues by strictly adhering to client-specific handling instructions, scripts, and compliance guidelines.
  • Script Utilization: Effectively utilize call scripting to ensure consistency, compliance, and efficiency in handling customer claims and inquiries across all client accounts.

Punctuality and Reliability

  • Schedule Adherence: Adhere to break and lunch schedules to maintain productivity, ensure consistent customer service coverage, and support team operational goals.
  • Availability for Peak Periods: Remain available for extended hours or additional shifts during peak periods, high-volume campaigns, or emergency situations to provide critical support to the team and our clients.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed as a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, candidates must possess a combination of education, experience, technical aptitude, and interpersonal skills. Below is a comprehensive breakdown of the qualifications required for this role.

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED: A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required for this position.
  • Quality Assurance Experience: 1–2 years of quality assurance experience is preferred, though not mandatory. Experience in customer service, claims processing, or related fields will also be strongly considered.

Language and Communication Skills

  • Reading and Comprehension: Ability to read and interpret documents such as police reports, accident reports, and other official records.
  • Written Communication: Ability to write routine correspondence, detailed accident descriptions, and accurate claim documentation.
  • Telephone Presence: Ability to project a confident, clear, and professional telephone presence that builds trust and rapport with customers.
  • Feedback Delivery: Ability to provide constructive feedback both verbally and in writing in a positive, professional, and respectful manner.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish: Bi-lingual fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred and may result in additional opportunities or premium shift availability.

Computer and Technical Skills

  • Basic Computer Proficiency: Knowledge of and ability to navigate basic computer functions, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and standard web-based applications.
  • Typing Speed: Ability to type at least 40 words per minute (WPM) with a high degree of accuracy.

Network and Home Office Requirements

As a remote position, this role requires a reliable home office setup with a stable internet connection. The following network requirements must be met:

  • Speed Test: Upon hire, a speed test must be completed from the computer you will be using for work (via www.speedtest.net) to verify adequate connectivity.
  • Wired Connection: An Ethernet connection is not required; however, it is strongly recommended for optimal call quality and reliability.
  • Private Network: You must be connected to a private network. Working from public locations (such as coffee shops, libraries, or co-working spaces) is not permitted.
  • No VPNs: The use of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) is not allowed, as all system logins must occur within the United States.

Compensation and Benefits

For Team Members Working 20+ Hours Per Week:

  • Ancillary Benefits: Eligible on the first day of the month following 60 days of employment.

For Team Members Working Less Than 20 Hours Per Week:

  • Ancillary Benefits: Eligible on the first day of the month following 60 days of employment.
  • Available Coverage Includes: Dependent Care, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), and SavvyFi College Savings.

Additional Benefits for All Eligible Team Members:
