[Remote] UI/UX Designer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. MANTECH is seeking a motivated UI/UX Designer to join their team. The role involves ensuring user-centric design practices across product teams, creating engaging content, developing user interfaces, and supporting system accreditation efforts through documentation and stakeholder collaboration.
Responsibilities
- You will ensure user-centric design is practiced across all product teams by managing both graphic design and user interactions
- This role involves creating engaging content and developing user interfaces in support of the TAK Product Center core development efforts
- Produce technical documentation and wire diagrams to translate user requirements into actionable technical guidelines
- Work with management and internal teams to successfully navigate the Sponsor’s accreditation process for all design-related system components
- This position requires you to respond quickly and productively to user requirements and frequent change requests
- Facilitate frequent meetings and interviews with users and stakeholders to ensure the product aligns with mission needs
- Work with all stakeholders to ensure complete and functioning systems that meet all modern design and user experience standards
Skills
- High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in Information Systems Security or Digital Design
- Extensive knowledge of modern design standards, user experience (UX) principles, and graphic arts
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and professional wire diagramming tools
- Proven ability to translate complex user requirements into technical guidelines and structured documentation
- Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating technical documentation, particularly regarding user interface architecture
- Active Secret clearance is required with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI
- You must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- You will need to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery
- This role requires you to frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers
- You must be able to exchange accurate information in all professional situations
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP certification)
- Experience with the Sponsor's primary cyber risk and compliance automation tools
