They are seeking a skilled and visionary Fulfillment Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers in revolutionizing fulfillment systems and enhancing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • You will manage, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and growth by challenging them to do their best work
  • You will define priorities and deliverables for projects that optimize fulfilment systems, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • You will partner with product managers, operations, and algorithms teams to continuously improve fulfillment processes and customer delivery experiences
  • You will ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance, minimizing disruptions to daily operations
  • You will drive initiatives to modernize fulfillment systems, improve workflows, and reduce inefficiencies
  • You will act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on team progress, challenges, and milestones
  • You will find, hire, and develop people that compliment each other as a diverse, inclusive team
  • You will facilitate technical design discussions, remove blockers and align stakeholders
  • You will inspire an atmosphere of continuous improvement by serving as a coach, mentor, and technical advisor

Skills

  • Experience with warehouse management systems, order management systems, transportation management systems, distribution center software, or similar solutions
  • 3+ years of experience building and scaling real-time solutions, including 1-2+ years managing high-performing engineering teams
  • Experience leading distributed teams across multiple time zones
  • Proven track record of delivering impactful, customer-focused solutions aligned with business objectives
  • Extensive hands-on experience with one of the widely used programming languages, such as Golang, Java, or similar
  • Passionate about mentoring team members and supporting their professional growth
  • Prioritize clear, honest communication and build strong, collaborative teams based on trust and autonomy
  • Excel at setting and communicating clear priorities to your team and cross-functional partners
  • Flexible, pragmatic, and committed to building high-quality solutions that meet user needs
  • Experience refining development processes to improve team efficiency and outcomes
