[Remote] Commercial Lines Account Executive

They are seeking a Commercial Lines Account Executive to lead client support, manage accounts, and develop risk management strategies while mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Leads meetings with clients, including meetings at client locations
- Responsible for providing comprehensive client support and acts as main client contact for book of business
- Effectively manages difficult client communications including loss of coverage, claim denials, unfavorable underwriting and other challenging renewal scenarios
- Negotiates and sells lines of insurance to clients to round out accounts as appropriate
- May design insurance and risk management plans for clients as assigned and directed by Agency management
- Owns all audit, review and claims processes for assigned book of business
- Analyzes data to draft client service plans, stewardship reports, and other meaningful reports tailored to the needs of the client and circumstances of the presentation
- Manages and develops strong personal relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel
- Skilled at forecasting industry trends to predict needed changes in client strategies
- Reviews changes in carrier offerings and policies and relays information to the larger service team
- Mentors or formally directs the work of more junior team members including Account Coordinators, Account Managers, and Senior Account Managers
- Facilitates and collaborates with account team on the agency’s renewal strategy
- Creates complex risk-management strategies for accounts and other team members to attract and retain large client accounts
- Partners with industry and carrier experts to deliver strategy and solution options to clients and the broader agency
- Conducts book reviews to determine which accounts need an in-person risk assessment or client meeting to support agency retention
- Other duties as assigned
- Some travel may be required
Skills
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years client service and/or claims management experience -OR- High School degree/GED with 10+ years client service and/or claims management experience
- 1+ years supervisory experience
- Appropriate licensing as required
- Previous insurance knowledge and experience managing client relationships
- Solid financial acumen
