[Remote] Junior Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Craft Digital is a company that focuses on delivering effective engineering solutions. They are seeking a Junior Engineer to take well-scoped tickets, build, test, and deliver features while working closely with their Lead Engineer or founders.
Responsibilities
- Take scoped tickets and ship them — build it, test it, deliver it
- Use Claude Code and Cursor Pro as your primary development tools every day
- Build dashboards, integrations, and features across the client stack
- Ask great questions, then drive yourself to the answer
- Level up fast — this is a real engineering environment, not a training program
Skills
- Some engineering background — CS degree, information systems, bootcamp, or self-taught with real shipped projects
- Experience shipping at least a few real things: school projects, side projects, internship work — something where you went from a blank page to a working product
- Knowledge of Git
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience with at least one frontend framework
- Familiarity with AI tools for learning and projects
- Ability to finish what you start and not disappear for three days when hitting a wall
- Willingness to ask questions when stuck (with context) and push through
