Role Overview

The Product Manager – Customer Loyalty & Experience Strategy is a pivotal role that drives the creation, enhancement, and delivery of loyalty‑focused products across arenaflex’s retail ecosystem. Reporting to the Product Management Leader, you will partner with cross‑functional teams—including engineering, design, analytics, finance, and marketing—to translate business goals and user needs into compelling product roadmaps. Your work will directly influence sales growth, operational efficiency, and the overall satisfaction of both customers and associates.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning (≈40% of time)

  • Deeply understand the evolving needs of arenaflex customers and store associates, using qualitative and quantitative research to uncover pain points and opportunities.
  • Translate business objectives, market trends, and user insights into a clear product strategy that aligns with arenaflex’s loyalty vision.
  • Define success metrics, KPIs, and analytics frameworks to measure product impact on revenue, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Conduct end‑user research, develop personas, and craft Minimum Viable Product (MVP) definitions that guide development cycles.
  • Collaborate with Finance to build robust business cases, forecast ROI, and secure investment for new loyalty initiatives.
  • Monitor competitive landscapes, emerging technologies, and industry innovations to ensure arenaflex’s loyalty solutions remain best‑in‑class.

Delivery & Execution (≈30% of time)

  • Own the product backlog, prioritize user stories, and work closely with Agile teams to deliver high‑quality releases on schedule.
  • Ensure all product releases meet arenaflex’s quality, compliance, and change‑control standards.
  • Formulate hypotheses, run experiments, and iterate based on user testing and data‑driven insights.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, non‑technical language for stakeholders at every level.
  • Identify dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies, communicating them proactively to keep projects on track.
  • Participate in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, product demos, and retrospectives, championing continuous improvement.

People & Collaboration (≈30% of time)

  • Foster a collaborative environment with engineers, UX designers, data scientists, and marketing partners to drive shared product value.
  • Advocate for modern software development practices such as paired programming, test‑driven development, and continuous deployment.
  • Serve as the domain expert for loyalty programs, empathizing with both customers and associates to ensure solutions meet real‑world needs.
  • Facilitate workshops, brainstorming sessions, and stakeholder reviews, ensuring transparent communication of product strategy and progress.
  • Manage expectations across cross‑functional teams, educating requestors on prioritization based on tangible business outcomes.
  • Demonstrate active listening, adaptability, and clear articulation when presenting to executive leadership, store teams, and external partners.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in product management or a related role.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a modern, Agile software development environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience defining metrics, tracking performance, and making data‑driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to influence diverse audiences.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the United States and age 18 or older.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience as a Product Manager in a fast‑paced, technology‑focused retail or e‑commerce setting.
  • Hands‑on experience with Agile methodologies, especially XP practices such as paired programming, TDD, and continuous deployment.
