Position Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic, empathetic, and detail‑oriented individuals to join our Remote Healthcare Customer Service team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for members navigating health plan options, eligibility questions, and online account navigation. Your ability to listen, solve problems, and convey complex information with clarity will directly influence the quality of our members’ health journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Member Assistance: Provide prompt, courteous assistance to new and existing members regarding health plan benefits, eligibility, enrollment status, and account access.
  • Product Knowledge & Upselling: Leverage deep knowledge of arenaflex health plans to recommend upgrades or supplemental coverage that align with members’ needs.
  • Research & Outreach: Conduct outbound calls and research to resolve inquiries, verify eligibility, and ensure members receive accurate information.
  • Digital Navigation Support: Guide members through the arenaflex online portal, helping them locate doctors, facilities, and understand account functionalities.
  • Compliance & Privacy: Strictly adhere to HIPAA regulations, safeguarding all personal health information with the highest level of integrity.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Team Leads, Quality Assurance, and other support specialists to continuously improve processes and member satisfaction.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing training, webinars, and self‑directed courses to stay current on health plan updates, industry trends, and arenaflex tools.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a health‑care or insurance environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in health administration is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow HIPAA guidelines and protect patient privacy.
  • Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and web navigation.
  • Reliable high‑speed internet connection (minimum 15 Mbps) and a quiet, dedicated workspace.
  • USB‑wired headset (Bluetooth headsets are not permitted) and a smartphone or tablet (iOS or Android) for daily log‑ins.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience with health‑care benefit administration, enrollment processes, or insurance verification.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in a friendly, easy‑to‑understand manner.
  • Demonstrated empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced remote environment.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and health‑care industry standards.
  • Previous experience using remote collaboration tools such as Zoom, Teams, or Slack.

Eligibility & Geographic Considerations

Our remote team operates in 40 preferred residency states. While we currently do not hire from Alaska, California, Hawaii, or locations outside the United States, we do consider candidates from Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington, and Washington, D.C. on a case‑by‑case basis based on specific business needs.
