Position Overview

We are actively seeking a highly motivated, licensed Pharmacy Technician who is also an exceptional customer service professional to join our remote team. This unique role blends the technical expertise of a pharmacy technician with the communication finesse of a call‑center agent. You will serve as a trusted advocate for arenaflex customers, handling inbound inquiries, resolving complex pharmacy‑related issues, and ensuring every interaction reflects our heart‑centered purpose.

Because of state‑specific licensing requirements, this position is open only to residents of the following states: Arizona, Alaska, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, and Vermont. Successful candidates will receive comprehensive virtual training and will work full‑time from the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Advocacy: Answer inbound calls to the 1‑800‑SHOP‑ARENAFLEX line, providing accurate, courteous, and empathetic assistance to pharmacy customers.
  • Issue Resolution: Research, interpret, and apply arenaflex policies and procedures to resolve inquiries related to prescriptions, refills, insurance, and medication counseling.
  • Multichannel Communication: Manage email and written correspondence, ensuring timely and professional responses that uphold arenaflex standards.
  • Collaboration: Partner with field management, category managers, and cross‑functional teams to address complex concerns and deliver swift resolutions.
  • Documentation: Accurately document each interaction in arenaflex’s CRM system, maintaining compliance with regulatory and quality‑assurance standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas for process enhancements, share best practices, and participate in ongoing training to elevate the overall customer experience.
  • Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all state pharmacy regulations, privacy laws (HIPAA), and arenaflex security protocols while handling sensitive health information.

Essential Qualifications

  • Current residency in one of the eligible states (AZ, AK, FL, ID, IL, MA, NH, NC, RI, TN, TX, VT) due to licensing compliance.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain before start date, a valid Pharmacy Technician license in the state of residence.
  • Minimum of 1 + year experience in a customer service environment, preferably within health care or retail pharmacy settings.
  • Proficient to advanced PC skills, including strong command of Microsoft Windows, email platforms, and web‑based applications.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a talent for translating technical pharmacy information into clear, understandable language for customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high productivity and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Assets

  • Prior experience in a high‑volume call center, especially handling pharmacy‑related calls, is highly desired.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, enabling you to serve a broader segment of arenaflex’s diverse customer base.
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools and pharmacy management software.
  • Strong problem‑solving mindset, with the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for staying current with pharmacy regulations and industry trends.

Education Requirements

A verifiable high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required. While a formal degree is not mandatory, candidates who have completed pharmacy technician certification programs or related coursework will be given strong consideration.

Compensation & Benefits Overview

We offer a competitive hourly wage that starts at $17.00 per hour and can increase up to $31.30 per hour** based on experience, performance, and geographic location.
