We are currently seeking a motivated, empathetic, and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative – Member Well-being Support Specialist to join our Member Support team. Starting Compensation and Growth Opportunities

This role begins at $15 per hour, with the potential to increase to $16 per hour within the first year based on performance and merit. In addition, team members have access to structured bonus opportunities tied to Key Job Accountabilities (KJA) at the 6-month, 12-month, and 24-month milestones. Remote Work Requirements and Technical Setup
This position is 100% remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home in a designated workspace free from distractions. arenaflex provides all necessary technology equipment, and selected candidates will be trained remotely. To ensure success in this role, you must have:
- A reliable, high-speed internet connection with a minimum download speed of 50 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.
- A private, quiet work area suitable for handling sensitive member interactions.
- The ability to participate in video meetings and online training sessions via platforms such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
- Access to a dependable power source and the ability to maintain productivity during your scheduled shifts.
Key Responsibilities
As a Member Well-being Support Specialist at arenaflex, you will serve as the first point of contact for members seeking information and assistance with our Health Management programs. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and responding to inbound telephone calls from members, health plans, and employer groups in a professional and courteous manner.
- Demonstrating thorough knowledge of all arenaflex products and programs, maintaining consistent proficiency in quality, quantity, and responsiveness.
- Accurately ascertaining the nature of each contact and documenting relevant information in the appropriate system.
- Providing accurate, timely answers to member inquiries by following established policies and procedures.
- Building positive, respectful relationships with both internal and external customers, fostering a cooperative working environment.
- Utilizing defined criteria to determine member eligibility for Health Management programs.
- Coordinating the collection of necessary information, including member co-pays or payments when applicable.
- Facilitating access to Health Management coaches when clinical advice or information is needed to support the member's journey.
- Scheduling appointments for applicable Health Management programs and initiating appointments on behalf of coaches when required.
- Forwarding documentation to the Research Team for follow-up when inquiries require additional action or investigation.
- Analyzing information, problems, and situations to develop effective solutions that ensure member satisfaction.
- Researching unique questions using all available resources and escalating complex issues to a Supervisor when appropriate.
- Managing time effectively to ensure calls are answered within required timeframes and follow-up is conducted promptly.
- Exercising strict confidentiality in all matters related to the member experience.
- Attending team meetings and participating in initiatives that foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Placing outbound outreach calls to members referred to the program by Health Advocates, Disease Management teams, or other referral sources when requested.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, including at least 6 months in an inbound call center environment servicing members.
- Technical Skills: Basic experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone presence.
- Reliability: Dependable high-speed internet and a quiet, dedicated workspace.
Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in a healthcare, insurance, or wellness-related customer service role.
- Familiarity with Health Management programs, Disease Management, or Wellness Coaching services.
