As a Compliance Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be the guardian of data quality for a critical internal system known as PATS (Payroll and Timekeeping System). Your meticulous work will ensure that associate work times, indirect logs, and exception reports are captured correctly, enabling the organization to meet payroll deadlines, adhere to labor regulations, and provide transparent reporting to senior leadership.
Role Overview
This is a contract position based in Framingham, Massachusetts, with a fixed schedule of Thursday through Sunday, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM. You will work closely with the PATS/IT Supervisor, area supervisors, and the broader payroll team to verify, adjust, and archive time‑related data. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of $17 – $20 and the opportunity to develop specialized expertise in AS‑400 Warehouse Management System (WMS) and compliance data workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify Start and Stop Times: Review each associate’s daily start and stop entries in the PATS system, ensuring accuracy against source documents.
- Data Reconciliation: Examine activity logs imported from SCAN, identify discrepancies, and correct them to maintain data integrity.
- Indirect Time Entry: Accurately key in indirect time from various logs, confirming that the entries do not conflict with other assignments.
- Report Generation & Data Manipulation: Analyze raw data, generate required reports, and create assignments within PATS. Store raw data in compliance with retention policies.
- Exception & Adjustment Logging: Record all exceptions and adjustments, ensuring that each associate’s logs are complete and submitted on time.
- Supervisor Coordination: Communicate any data issues to area supervisors, track the resolution of returned logs, and ensure timely re‑submission.
- Archiving & Retention: Archive production and indirect logs in accordance with payroll record‑retention standards.
- Backup Support: Serve as a trained backup for the PATS/IT Supervisor during payroll extraction processes.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks within the PATS application to keep the system operating smoothly.
- General Clerical Assistance: Provide additional administrative support to keep daily operations running efficiently.
Minimum Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Working knowledge of the AS‑400 Warehouse Management System (WMS) – at least one year of hands‑on experience.
- Minimum of one year of related business experience, preferably in a data‑entry or compliance environment.
- Understanding of distribution center (DC) internal operations and procedures is desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll and personnel data.
- Organized workstation habits and attention to detail.
- Bilingual ability (English + another language) is preferred but not mandatory.
