Position Summary

The Customer Experience Professional plays a critical role in shaping how customers perceive and engage with arenaflex. Working remotely during Eastern Standard Time hours, you will serve as the voice, chat, and email connection point for thousands of customers seeking assistance with purchases, product inquiries, project planning, and post-sale support. Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction & Support

  • Provide outstanding, customer-centric support across multiple communication channels, including phone, email, live chat, and SMS/text messaging.
  • Understand and respond appropriately to both stated and unstated customer needs, demonstrating active listening and empathy throughout every interaction.
  • Utilize all available resources, knowledge bases, and technology tools to deliver accurate, timely, and effective solutions to customer inquiries.
  • Assist customers with a wide range of needs, including product purchases, order status updates, service requests, store experience feedback, and general brand inquiries.
  • Communicate in a professional, courteous, and brand-aligned manner at all times, even during high-pressure or escalated situations.

Problem Solving & Solution Delivery

  • Use strong judgment and critical thinking to determine the optimal course of action when addressing customer concerns, especially when information is incomplete or ambiguous.
  • Navigate multiple computer systems simultaneously, multitasking efficiently to input data accurately while gathering information needed to resolve inquiries.
  • Leverage problem-solving skills to resolve increasingly complex issues, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
  • Recognize and act on sales opportunities, including thoughtful follow-up to ensure customer needs are met and to provide additional information as needed.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource by delivering accurate product specifications, pricing details, service explanations, and project guidance.

Relationship Building & Brand Representation

  • Connect on a personal level with customers, showing genuine empathy and care to establish rapport and inspire confidence in arenaflex.
  • Adapt communication style in real time to match the tone, urgency, and emotional state of each customer.
  • Be resourceful and creative in resolving problems, going above and beyond standard procedures when warranted to deliver exceptional service.
  • Listen attentively to identify the "need behind the need," ensuring that underlying concerns are addressed alongside surface-level requests.
  • Represent arenaflex as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador in every customer interaction.

Continuous Learning & Professional Development

  • Maintain current knowledge of arenaflex products, services, processes, and Contact Center programs through ongoing training and self-directed learning.
  • Remain actively engaged in professional development opportunities designed to build upon the foundational customer experience skillset.
  • Receive regular feedback from Supervisors and demonstrate a receptive, growth-oriented mindset toward coaching and performance enhancement.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and quality assurance initiatives to stay aligned with evolving best practices.

Additional Duties

  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by leadership to support the broader goals of the Contact Center and arenaflex.

Essential Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Minimum of one (1) year of customer service or sales experience in a professional setting.
  • Proficiency using basic computer tools, including web browsers, email platforms, and chat applications.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of customer service principles, with strong reading and writing skills.

Technical Requirements

  • Minimum home internet speed of 20 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload (must be verifiable via a computer on your home network—cell phones or company devices cannot be used for testing).
  • Reliable, dedicated workspace free from distractions and interruptions during scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to use a headset, webcam, and other standard Contact Center equipment comfortably for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in a remote Contact Center or call center environment.
  • Familiarity with omnichannel retail support, including order management systems and customer relationship management (CRM) platforms.
  • Experience supporting home improvement, DIY, or lifestyle product categories.
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities (Spanish, French, or other languages are a strong plus).
  • Previous experience using chat and text-based customer support tools at scale.

Work Schedule & Environment

This is a fully remote position based in the United States. To support our customer base, the role requires availability during Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours. Schedules may include evenings, nights, and/or weekend shifts, and you should be prepared for a fast-paced Contact Center environment where priorities can shift quickly.

You will work from a dedicated home office setup and engage with customers via phone, email, chat, and text. While the role is remote, you will be part of a highly connected team that values collaboration, communication, and mutual support.

Compensation & Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package designed to attract and retain top talent. The hourly pay range for this position is $14.77 to $24.63 per hour, depending on factors such as location, experience, education, and training. Starting rates may vary based on these and other relevant considerations.
