Position Overview
The Patient Accounts Receivable (AR) & Customer Service Representative is a pivotal member of our clinical operations team. Working in a dynamic office setting, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients navigating medical billing, payment responsibilities, and insurance inquiries. Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be entrusted with a blend of customer service excellence and financial stewardship. Your daily duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Patient Communication: Answer inbound calls promptly, providing clear explanations of medical bills, payment options, and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) details.
- Payment Processing: Securely accept and record patient payments over the phone, ensuring accuracy and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Account Monitoring: Continuously review patient accounts, identify overdue balances, and initiate timely follow‑up communications.
- Collections Coordination: Escalate delinquent accounts to the collections department when necessary, following arenaflex’s established protocols.
- Posting & Reconciliation: Assist the billing team with posting payments, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining up‑to‑date account records.
- Insurance Verification: Utilize Navinet and other payer portals to verify eligibility, check claim status, and support revenue cycle efficiency.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with clinical staff, billing specialists, and management to resolve patient concerns and improve overall financial performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas for process enhancements, automation opportunities, and patient education initiatives.

Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate the following core competencies:

- Hands‑on experience with Navinet or similar payer websites for eligibility verification and claim status tracking.
