Why This Role Matters

As a Customer Onboarding Manager at arenaflex, you will be the linchpin that ensures new clients transition smoothly from contract signing to full‑fledged usage of our travel platform. You will own the end‑to‑end onboarding journey, orchestrating cross‑functional teams, managing external partners, and delivering a seamless migration experience that delights customers and drives long‑term loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the onboarding & migration experience: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, internal stakeholders, and third‑party vendors throughout the onboarding lifecycle.
  • Project planning & execution: Design detailed work breakdown structures, allocate resources, and develop comprehensive project plans that align with regional and global initiatives.
  • Requirement gathering & documentation: Capture, validate, and document client requirements to ensure downstream teams (deployment, traveler care, etc.) have clear, actionable information.
  • Risk & issue management: Identify potential risks, track issues, and maintain a transparent risk register; proactively communicate mitigation strategies to all stakeholders.
  • Testing oversight: Coordinate end‑to‑end testing, ensure test results are documented, and drive corrective actions to meet the global testing plan standards.
  • Stakeholder communication: Facilitate regular status calls, produce bi‑weekly reports, and keep senior leadership informed of milestones, changes, and dependencies.
  • Process improvement: Contribute ideas for continuous improvement, share best practices across the onboarding team, and mentor junior colleagues.
  • Positive culture champion: Foster a collaborative, fun, and high‑energy environment both internally and with customers to reinforce partnership and project success.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customer onboarding, project management, or implementation roles within the corporate travel industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi‑geography projects in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong business English proficiency; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Proven track record of building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Hands‑on experience with project management tools (e.g., OnePlan, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet) and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint and Salesforce.
  • Solid understanding of corporate travel operations, travel policy compliance, and the broader travel ecosystem.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification.
  • Experience with SaaS onboarding, data migration, and system integration projects.
  • Background in consulting or professional services within travel, hospitality, or related sectors.
  • Familiarity with global testing frameworks and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Multilingual capability (e.g., Spanish, French, Mandarin) to support diverse client bases.

Compensation, Perks & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $70,000 – $140,000 USD annually, calibrated to experience, skill set, and location.
