Position Overview

arenaflex is seeking a dynamic Remote Operations Process Manager to lead the design, execution, and refinement of store‑level operational processes that directly impact the customer experience. In this role, you will partner closely with the Operations Strategy Team, field leaders, and a talented group of Business Analysts to drive large‑scale process improvement initiatives, manage critical projects, and ensure that store operations align with arenaflex’s strategic goals. This is a high‑visibility position that blends analytical rigor, project leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration—all while working from the comfort of your own home office.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Process Leadership

  • Analyze complex operational challenges, break them down into fundamental components, and communicate clear, data‑driven recommendations to both internal teams and field partners.
  • Design, pilot, and roll out process enhancements that improve store efficiency, reduce waste, and boost the bottom line for arenaflex’s retail locations.
  • Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of core store‑operations projects, from initial scoping and resource allocation to execution, monitoring, and post‑implementation review.

Project Management & Execution

  • Develop and maintain detailed project work plans, timelines, and risk registers for all initiatives under your purview.
  • Proactively identify and resolve roadblocks, ensuring that projects stay on schedule and deliver measurable value.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams—including merchandising, supply chain, technology, and field operations—to align on objectives and deliverables.

Field Partnership & Communication

  • Serve as the primary liaison between arenaflex’s corporate operations team and the field, fostering strong, collaborative relationships built on trust and transparency.
  • Prepare and present high‑impact insights, dashboards, and recommendations that synthesize industry trends, competitive analysis, and consumer data.
  • Deliver training sessions, workshops, and documentation to ensure that store teams understand new processes and can execute them effectively.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of 2‑5 Business Analysts, providing clear direction, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Conduct regular performance appraisals, set measurable goals, and cultivate a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Champion best practices in data analysis, project documentation, and stakeholder communication across the team.

Operational Excellence & Knowledge Management

  • Maintain an up‑to‑date knowledge base that captures process documentation, SOPs, and lessons learned for all store‑operations initiatives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to store efficiency, customer satisfaction, and cost savings, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Stay abreast of emerging retail technologies, industry benchmarks, and regulatory changes that could impact arenaflex’s operations.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in retail operations, process management, or project delivery, with a proven track record of driving measurable improvements.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop small teams of analysts or specialists, providing coaching, feedback, and career guidance.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative abilities, including proficiency in statistical analysis, data visualization, and the use of tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Project Management: Experience managing complex, multi‑stakeholder projects; PMP or PMI‑ACP certification is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable business recommendations.
  • Travel: Ability to travel overnight less than 10% of the time for on‑site project work or stakeholder meetings.
  • Legal Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMI certification (PMP, CAPM, or Agile Certified Practitioner).
  • Three or more years of direct retail experience, preferably within a large‑scale, multi‑store environment.
  • Familiarity with arenaflex’s store operating systems, point‑of‑sale platforms, or similar retail technology stacks.
