Job title: Art Teacher Company: Lake County Schools Job description: Provide differentiated instruction with a variety of assessments in an environment conducive to learning QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a PEL with an Art Endorsement at the Elementary A completed/submitted online application, resumé, and letters of recommendation as required on the online application Ability to work as a team member Past experience teaching the specific class will be considered first; recent coursework or student teaching in the subject will also be considered The ability to speak a foreign language is preferred PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrate accurate, up-to-date knowledge of content and learning standards
- Foster a classroom climate conducive to learning
- Utilize instructional management systems that maximize student learning
- Differentiate instruction and monitor student progress towards achieving instructional objectives and goals
- Plans and supervises assignments for assistants and volunteers
- Promote and maintain positive pupil-teacher-parent relationships
- Meet professional responsibilities as outlined in the Staff Handbook
- Continue to seek professional development opportunities as required by the State for license renewal
- Maintain professional work habits
- Communicate effectively within the educational community
- Maintain your Professional Educator License as required by law
