Telehealth Mental Health Counselor - Remote Position

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home office. Our technology-driven platform ensures secure and efficient communication with clients. Each clinician is equipped with the resources necessary for successful telehealth interactions, including access to best-in-class telehealth software that facilitates client engagement and documentation. Our day-shift schedule operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Telehealth Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting confidential and secure virtual therapy sessions tailored for adults, couples, and families facing a variety of mental health concerns.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that are evidence-based, client-centered, and focused on addressing the unique needs of each client.
• Monitoring client progress, coordinating care efforts with interdisciplinary teams, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of all therapy sessions, client interactions, and treatment progress in compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards.
• Participating in ongoing professional development activities, including peer supervision and case reviews, to enhance clinical skills and contribute to the collective knowledge of our care team.

Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse client population across Pennsylvania, including individuals and families facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. Your role will be critical in providing support during challenging times, helping clients to develop coping mechanisms and strategies for lasting change.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure in Pennsylvania as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing direct mental health counseling services.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in a telehealth context, with proficiency in digital platforms.

Preferred Experience While not mandatory, candidates with experience in telehealth services or familiarity with specific therapeutic modalities (such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, or trauma-informed care) will be viewed favorably. Additional skills in cultural competency and language proficiency can enhance our ability to provide effective care to a broader client base.
