Job Summary We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer with strong T-SQL experience to design, develop, and maintain database solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and application teams to support data-driven applications, reporting, and analytics initiatives.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and maintain T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Design and implement database schemas, tables, indexes, and views to support applications.
- Collaborate with application developers to integrate SQL queries into software solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize database performance.
- Participate in data modeling, ETL processes, and reporting initiatives.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with standards and policies.
- Document database design, processes, and procedures.
- Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in T-SQL (writing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions).
- Experience with MS SQL Server or Azure SQL Database.
- Knowledge of database design, normalization, indexing, and query optimization.
- Experience with ETL processes and reporting tools (SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, or equivalent).
- Understanding of data governance, security, and best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with performance tuning and query optimization for large datasets.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Experience working in financial, healthcare, or enterprise environments.
