Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Support Representative, you will serve as the vital bridge between arenaflex’s sales force and its valued customers. Your day‑to‑day activities will include:

  • Maintain a real‑time understanding of the assigned Account Manager’s travel itinerary, meeting schedule, and business priorities.
  • Process, confirm, monitor, and manage customer orders through the arenaflex order management system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Communicate proactively with both direct and indirect customers to meet or exceed arenaflex’s service and sales objectives.
  • Preserve and grow profitable existing customer relationships using a blend of personal outreach, electronic communication, and strategic initiative.
  • Develop a collaborative partnership with the assigned Account Manager, sharing insights and supporting joint sales targets.
  • Allocate dedicated time to understand each customer’s business model, objectives, and anticipated product needs.
  • Prepare and present sales quotations, credit terms, and pricing proposals that align with arenaflex’s profitability goals.
  • Deliver marketing collateral, advertising programs, new‑product introductions, and value‑added services to existing accounts.
  • Handle customer projections, invoices, warranty claims, and quality‑control issues with professionalism and speed.
  • Collect, analyze, and disseminate competitor intelligence, market trends, and new‑product information to internal stakeholders.
  • Execute all sales transactions with a focus on profit margins, volume targets, and value‑added opportunities.
  • Generate and communicate price quotations, and compile internal reports as required by management.
  • Monitor customer payment performance and flag any concerns to the finance team.
  • Participate in staff meetings, sales briefings, training sessions, and product seminars to stay current on arenaflex offerings.
  • Create accurate sales forecasts and pipeline projections for the assigned territory.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate the following core qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED is required; additional coursework in business, sales, or related fields is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to convey information clearly and professionally in written and verbal English across emails, phone calls, and presentations.
  • Numeracy: Proficiency with basic arithmetic—addition, subtraction, multiplication, division—and the ability to calculate percentages, discounts, interest, and volume measurements.
  • Problem‑Solving: Capability to resolve multi‑variable business scenarios, interpret written and pictorial instructions, and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Technical Aptitude: Comfortable using computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, CRM platforms) and learning new software tools quickly.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods, stand, walk, lift up to 10 lb, and perform repetitive hand motions; vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Prior experience in customer support, order processing, or inside sales within a manufacturing or packaging environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction scores.
  • Experience gathering and reporting market intelligence, competitor analysis, or product trend data.
  • Strong organizational skills with a track record of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of credit terms, invoicing procedures, and financial documentation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime, to support customer needs and internal initiatives.
