Join Our Team as a Risk Management and Compliance Specialist at Axiom Location: Remote and/or Houston,TX Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Risk Management and Compliance Specialist with extensive prior experience working in hospital systems in Texas. The successful candidate will be well-versed in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks within healthcare settings while promoting a culture of safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Identify and assess potential risks in various healthcare settings, including hospitals and clinics. Develop and implement strategic risk mitigation plans to enhance patient safety and minimize liability. Manage legal and regulatory compliance, insurance policies, and claims processing efficiently. Collaborate with different departments to ensure safety and operational efficiency across the organization. Qualifications: Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) required. JD preferred, but not required. At least 10 years of direct experience working in Texas and/or familiarity with Texas healthcare regulations. Extensive experience in risk management within a hospital system. Proven track record in clinical/patient safety, risk financing, legal and regulatory compliance, healthcare operations, and claims/litigation management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Compensation: The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
