They are seeking a Senior Voice and Clinical Communications Engineer responsible for the design, operation, and modernization of enterprise communication platforms that support patient care, ensuring reliability and integration across clinical workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the design, operation, and modernization of enterprise communication platforms that directly support patient care
  • Focuses on the reliability, integration, and evolution of systems that enable caregiver communication and clinical workflows across acute and ambulatory environments
  • Ensuring these platforms are resilient, highly available, and aligned to evolving clinical and operational needs, while partnering closely with engineering, operations, and clinical teams to drive modernization and improve service reliability

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering. Or equivalent educ/experience
  • 5 years Related experience; 5-8 years preferred
  • Experience in automation, specifically related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes
  • Experience with n-tier solutions
  • Experience with resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and ability to simulate service outages for point solutions (automated) and platforms (manually)
  • Experience influencing software engineering team members in translating customer and technical requirements into service architecture to meet Quality of Service Expectations
  • Experience leading and representing the Service in backlog discussions and standups to establish appropriate prioritization of Live Site requirements
  • Good experience leveraging data and metrics to drive behavior, process, and priority decisions. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
  • Experience in problem solving using systematic procedures and investigating problems utilizing root cause analysis
  • Experience in a Healthcare environment
