[Remote] Director of Digital Marketing, Automotive

They are seeking a Director of Digital Marketing to lead the digital department, overseeing strategy and execution across all digital channels while managing a team of specialists and ensuring client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of web developers and SEM/SEO/AEO specialists
- Own digital strategy and execution across all channels (paid search, SEO/AEO, display, video, listings)
- Direct the team in building, structuring, and launching campaigns and landing pages
- Oversee the monthly cycle of checking, structuring, and reviewing campaigns for results
- Manage client requests for web and digital updates throughout the month, coordinating the team and vendors to deliver
- Run monthly client review meetings, presenting SEM and overall digital performance with clear, confident reporting
- Build and deliver performance reports that translate data into action
- Set, track, and hit monthly goals and KPIs across the account portfolio
- Manage vendor relationships and hold vendors accountable to deliverables, timelines, and quality
- Coordinate website updates with both vendors and the internal team
- Oversee dealer website platforms and ensure they are optimized and current
- Project manage multiple dealership and client accounts at once, keeping everything on schedule
- Serve as the senior digital point of contact for clients and internal teams
Skills
- [7]+ years of digital marketing experience, with a strong track record in paid search and SEO/AEO
- Proven people management and team leadership experience
- Deep hands-on expertise with Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising (Bing), Amazon DSP, and Skai
- Experience with YouTube and video advertising, plus local listings management
- Working knowledge of automotive and general web platforms, example: DealerOn, Dealer eProcess, Team Velocity, Dealer Inspire, and WordPress, etc
- Strong reporting skills and the confidence to present results directly to clients
- Solid project management instincts and the ability to juggle multiple accounts and deadlines
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment that operates on monthly campaign cycles
- A self-starter who can own the digital function and drive it forward
- Automotive marketing experience strongly preferred (Tier 3 digital experience a major plus)
