[Remote] New Business Development, Director

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Evaluate Ltd is a premier global life sciences data and AI solutions provider dedicated to improving patient access to life-saving therapies. They are seeking a New Business Development Director to join their Global New Logo Sales team, focusing on acquiring new biopharma and life sciences clients and managing the entire sales pipeline from lead generation to closing sales.

Responsibilities

  • Generate sales to net new biopharma clients to achieve and exceed the agreed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales target for Americas
  • Manage the entire sales pipeline from lead generation to closing the sale
  • Sell the entirety of the Evaluate and Citeline solution portfolios
  • Develop great professional relationships with all clients and prospects to maximize lifetime value of each account
  • Utilize Evaluate’s Salesforce CRM system to document all sales activities and provide accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline reports and sales forecasts on a weekly basis
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and SDR teams on regular and targeted campaigns to introduce new services, generate sales leads and promote the Evaluate and Citeline brands
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned

Skills

  • A passion for healthcare, life sciences, data /analytics, and technology
  • Knowledge of the drug development and commercialization lifecycle
  • Relevant experience in SaaS sales, with great exposure and experience selling to biopharma and life sciences companies
  • Proven consultative sales skills, including competitive market research, lead generation, prospecting, business development and closing sales
  • Outgoing and tenacious personality, a team-player with a proven ability to commit to success in achieving challenging goals
  • Confidence in navigating the buying process
  • Ability to engage C-level stakeholders and talk confidently and competently to the value of how analysis and data insights support institutional investment decisions
  • Ability to plan, prepare, execute, and review professional meetings to achieve strategic objectives and win/win outcomes with clients
  • You have a track record of over-achieving sales quota
