They are seeking a Business Development Executive responsible for expanding market position, building customer relationships, and maximizing revenue for the firm.
Responsibilities
- Prospecting for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising, or other means of generating interest from potential clients. This will be the primary role of the Business Development Executive
- Planning persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with our Firm
- Developing a rapport with new clients, and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship
- Growing and retaining existing clients by presenting new solutions and services
- Responsible for developing a pipeline of new business coming into the Firm
- Attending industry functions, including association events, conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends
- Using of the market and competitors, identifying, and developing the Firm’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
Skills
- Minimum of five years of business development experience
- Thorough knowledge of the related market and competitors, and the solutions/services of the accounting industry
- Familiarity or experience with Government Contracts
- College degree or relevant/equivalent work experience. MBA or other advanced degree is a plus
- Proven track record of successful business development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confidence interacting with clients and business partners, and ability to maintain professional composure in a challenging role
- Proactive, results-oriented, self-starter
- Ability to travel and to attend networking and other functions outside of normal business hours
