[Remote] Associate Regional Sales Executive

Harris Computer Corporation family, specializing in secure cloud hosting and managed services for various industries. They are seeking an Associate Regional Sales Executive to drive new business growth and expand their presence in healthcare and other mission-critical sectors, requiring strong technical knowledge and consultative sales skills.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed annual sales bookings, pipeline generation, and revenue objectives within the assigned territory while effectively managing sales activities and resources
  • Drive New Business & Pipeline Growth: Proactively identify, research, and engage prospective clients across healthcare and other mission-critical industries. Generate qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, industry events, partner engagement, and targeted account development
  • Manage the Sales Cycle: Support and lead sales opportunities throughout the customer journey, from initial outreach and discovery through proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution. Collaborate with technical, operational, and leadership teams to develop solutions aligned to customer goals
  • Develop Solution Expertise: Build and maintain a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, managed services, migration strategies, cybersecurity, AI-enabled operations, and digital transformation initiatives. Effectively communicate the value of Altera Cloud's solutions to both technical and business stakeholders
  • Conduct Discovery & Consultative Selling: Engage with executives, technology leaders, and operational stakeholders to understand business objectives, technology challenges, and strategic priorities. Translate customer needs into tailored cloud and managed service solutions
  • Cultivate Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain trusted relationships with prospective clients, industry partners, and internal stakeholders. Foster credibility through professionalism, responsiveness, and a commitment to customer success
  • Develop Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, cloud technologies, competitive offerings, regulatory considerations, and emerging customer needs. Leverage market insights to identify opportunities and strengthen Altera Cloud's market position
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain accurate opportunity records, account plans, and activity tracking within Salesforce. Provide reliable pipeline forecasts, identify risks and opportunities, and communicate progress to leadership
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner closely with solution architects, cloud operations leaders, marketing, and sales leadership to develop compelling customer engagements, proposals, and business cases
  • Represent Altera Cloud: Serve as a professional ambassador for Altera Cloud at client meetings, conferences, webinars, and industry events, effectively communicating our mission, capabilities, and commitment to delivering Security, Performance, and Availability by Design
  • Travel: Requires up to 50% domestic travel

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required) in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related technical field
  • Entry-level to 2-4 years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated aptitude for sales and a strong drive to achieve targets
  • Foundational understanding of software sales principles and the sales cycle
  • Strong technical acumen and passion for technology, particularly AI and cloud computing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and articulate complex technical solutions and their business value
  • Understanding of the Healthcare or IT Industry
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Prior internship experience with a cloud provider or cloud services company is highly preferred
  • Experience in a software sales environment (2-4 years) is a strong plus
  • Fluency in Spanish (multilingual capabilities are highly valued)
  • Proven track record of success in sales over a sustained period (from internships, projects, or prior roles)
  • Experience in developing new business and managing a sales pipeline
