[Remote] Technical Account Executive

Pvotal Technologies builds infrastructure systems for engineering teams operating at the speed of AI, and they are seeking a deeply experienced Technical Account Executive to help expand their US footprint and accelerate the commercial growth of their product, Infrastream. The role involves driving enterprise sales opportunities, building relationships with technical buyers, and translating complex technical capabilities into clear business value.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive enterprise sales opportunities for Infrastream in the US market
  • Build relationships with technical buyers, including platform engineering, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, security, engineering leadership, and technology executives
  • Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value, urgency, and commercial outcomes
  • Lead discovery conversations that uncover infrastructure pain, operational risk, workflow inefficiency, governance gaps, and cloud delivery challenges
  • Partner with Pvotal leadership and technical teams to shape compelling demos, proposals, and enterprise sales materials
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, stakeholder mapping, negotiation, and close
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified enterprise opportunities
  • Contribute to Pvotal’s go to market strategy, including ICP refinement, buyer messaging, pricing feedback, sales process, and competitive positioning
  • Represent Pvotal professionally in the US market across calls, meetings, events, partnerships, and strategic introductions
  • Provide clear reporting on pipeline health, conversion metrics, buyer feedback, objections, and market signals
  • Help establish a repeatable sales playbook that can support future sales hiring and Series A readiness

Skills

  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
  • 2-5 years of applied technical selling experience
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Notion, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Enterprise SaaS sales
  • Technical software sales
  • Cloud infrastructure sales
  • DevOps, platform engineering, cybersecurity, or developer tooling sales
  • Startup or scale up sales experience
  • Experience selling into engineering leaders, CTOs, CIOs, CISOs, VP Engineering, platform teams, or cloud teams
  • Experience helping an early stage company create a repeatable sales motion
