[Remote] Senior Account Executive - Access Flooring Solutions

CyberCoders is a company seeking a results-driven Senior Account Executive to grow sales of access and raised access flooring solutions across various markets. The role involves strategic selling, managing key accounts, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored flooring systems that meet specific requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory and account-level sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for access flooring and modular systems
  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities across data centers, commercial real estate, government, and partner distributors
  • Manage and grow relationships with strategic accounts, design consultants, general contractors, and facility managers to secure repeat business and long-term partnerships
  • Lead technical sales presentations, specification reviews, and product demonstrations that explain system performance (load ratings, airflow management, EMI/grounding where applicable) and installation methods
  • Prepare proposals, respond to RFQs/RFPs, produce accurate quotes, and negotiate commercial terms and contracts
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and project management teams to ensure solutions meet project requirements, budgets, and timelines
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and CRM records; provide regular reporting to sales leadership
  • Support product launches, trade show participation, and customer training sessions to build market awareness and technical understanding
  • Provide on-site consultation as needed during pre-construction, installation, and handover phases to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery

Skills

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in access flooring, raised access flooring, modular flooring systems, or data center flooring solutions
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in specification-driven environments
  • Deep technical knowledge of raised access flooring systems, including tile construction, pedestal systems, load capacities, airflow management, and grounding/EMI considerations
  • Experience responding to RFQs/RFPs, preparing specifications, and working with architects, engineers, and contractors
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and familiarity with sales forecasting and pipeline management
  • Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites, project meetings, and industry events; valid drivers license required
  • Ability to read basic floor plans and familiarity with AutoCAD or construction drawing review preferred
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
  • Knowledge of data center market requirements and contacts within the data center community is a plus
