[Remote] Python AI Engineer/Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Apetan Consulting LLC is seeking a Python AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications and machine learning solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong Python programming skills and experience with AI/ML frameworks, focusing on building scalable, production-ready systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AI/ML applications using Python
- Build, train, and optimize machine learning models
- Work with large datasets for data preprocessing, cleaning, and feature engineering
- Integrate AI models into web applications, APIs, and business systems
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams
- Monitor model performance and improve accuracy over time
- Implement and maintain REST APIs for AI services
- Document code, processes, and technical solutions
Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and algorithms
- Experience with AI/ML libraries such as: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn
- Experience with data manipulation libraries: Pandas, NumPy
- Familiarity with SQL and databases
- Understanding of REST APIs and backend development
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field
- Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Knowledge of AI frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex
- Experience with cloud services such as: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
