[Remote] Senior Operations Business Analyst

The Senior Operations Business Analyst will support operations and supply chain functions by utilizing advanced analytics to drive data-informed decision-making, improve forecasting, and enhance operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced analytical models, including machine learning solutions, to optimize forecasting, inventory placement, and supply chain flows
• Design and automate predictive and prescriptive reports (daily, weekly, monthly) to support business decision-making
• Analyze large, complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights for business leaders
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and operational performance
• Lead strategic initiatives across multiple business areas, integrating processes, technologies, and stakeholder needs
• Support senior leadership by preparing executive-level presentations and facilitating business reviews
• Mentor and coach junior analysts, sharing best practices and analytical expertise
• Assess risks, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend innovative solutions to complex business challenges

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, operations, or supply chain analytics
• Advanced skills in SQL and strong experience with data modeling
• Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or similar
• Strong knowledge of supply chain and operations concepts
• Experience building optimization models and solving complex business problems
• Proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, BigQuery, SAS, or VBA
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights to senior stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently on complex initiatives
