[Remote] QA Automation Engineer (Salesforce Applications )
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dice is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join their engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of Salesforce-based applications and web platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver (Java)
- Build and maintain robust, scalable test automation frameworks (Page Object Model, BDD/TDD)
- Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test suites for Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or custom apps)
- Perform manual testing where automation is not feasible, including exploratory and UAT testing
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and define test strategies
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira; follow through to resolution
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Validate Salesforce configurations, workflows, custom objects, Apex triggers, and Lightning components
- Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, reviews, retrospectives) in an Agile environment
- Provide detailed test reports, metrics, and recommendations to stakeholders
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and at least one programming language (Java)
- Experience testing Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Force.com platform)
- Familiarity with test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, pytest, or NUnit
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Solid understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and Agile/Scrum practices
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
