About the Role
Shape the future of AI — with MudOS LPC! As an AI Tutor - MudOS LPC, you’ll use your MUD programming expertise to improve AI-generated code and ensure it aligns with LPC’s object-oriented design, runtime efficiency, and driver conventions. Your Day to Day
- Review LPC code for correctness, modularity, and idiomatic use within the MudOS driver.
- Solve interactive game logic and systems programming challenges using LPC and explain your process.
- Identify and correct flaws in AI output or unclear object/message logic.
- Summarize your approach and decision-making clearly and concisely.
About You
- Fluent in English with strong writing and communication skills.
- Expertise in LPC: object inheritance, simul_efuns, security levels, daemons, and runtime state management under MudOS.
- 3–5 years of experience in MudOS LPC development or MUD server architecture is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing one) in Computer Science, Game Development, or related field. Master’s or PhD preferred.
- Deep interest in AI, interactive fiction systems, or persistent virtual worlds.

Exact compensation varies based on a variety of factors, including skills and competencies, experience, and geographical location. Pay Range (rate per hour) $15$150 USD Important Information This is a freelance position compensated on an hourly basis. Please note that this is not an internship opportunity.
