As we continue to expand our footprint, we are looking for dedicated professionals who share our passion for precision, innovation, and service excellence.

Why This Role Matters

The Data Entry Specialist – Healthcare Operations position is a cornerstone of our digital transformation journey. By accurately capturing and validating critical health information, you will directly support the delivery of faster, safer, and more reliable services to hospitals, clinics, and insurance providers. Your work will enable advanced analytics, AI‑driven insights, and automated workflows that drive real‑world improvements in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter data from a continuous stream of scanned images into the QuickClaim system with precision and speed.
  • Identify and classify document types (e.g., claim forms, medical records, eligibility documents) based on visual cues and accompanying metadata.
  • Review each entry for completeness, correctness, and compliance with internal quality standards before final submission.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of Personal Health Information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA regulations and arenaflex’s data‑security policies.
  • Collaborate professionally with teammates, supervisors, and cross‑functional partners to resolve ambiguities and improve data quality.
  • Proactively suggest process enhancements, automation opportunities, or workflow adjustments that could increase efficiency or reduce error rates.
  • Complete all assigned tasks within the scheduled shift, ensuring that daily targets are met before logging off.
  • Perform additional office duties as needed, such as supporting document preparation, assisting with training new hires, or participating in quality‑control audits.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in health information management, business administration, or related fields is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to type at a minimum of 50 WPM with at least 95 % accuracy (or 4,500 KPH with 95 % accuracy).
  • Proven track record of handling confidential information responsibly, preferably within a HIPAA‑regulated environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a systematic approach to verifying data against source documents.
  • Strong work ethic, self‑motivation, and the ability to stay focused during repetitive tasks while maintaining high productivity.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken, to follow instructions and document findings clearly.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Prior experience in healthcare data entry, medical billing, or claims processing.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, claim adjudication platforms, or similar healthcare software.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology, coding standards (ICD‑10, CPT), and insurance claim workflows.
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced, remote, or hybrid environment with flexible shift patterns.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Comfort with continuous learning and adapting to new tools, such as optical character recognition (OCR) software or AI‑assisted validation utilities.

Work Schedule, Compensation, and Location

arenaflex offers both part‑time and full‑time positions to accommodate a variety of personal schedules. All shifts fall between 8:00 am – 9:00 pm CST, Monday through Friday. Full‑time availability is preferred, but we welcome candidates who can commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week. Compensation starts at $12 per hour, with opportunities for performance‑based raises and bonuses as you grow within the organization.

Benefits & Perks

  • Comprehensive Health Coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance plans designed to meet a wide range of needs.
  • Financial Security: Short‑term and long‑term disability coverage, plus a 401(k) plan with company matching contributions.
