Android Developer Mid Location: San Antonio United States Job Description: Type: 6-month contract to start Location: United States Schedule: Remote Role Overview We are seeking an Android Developer to join our team. This role involves building UI components and custom views for a library that will be utilized by internal design teams. The focus is on enhancing user experience through native mobile development, including work on application onboarding processes and communication settings pages.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain UI components and custom views for a shared library.
• Build and enhance application features such as user onboarding and document preferences.
• Work on the communication settings page, which includes preferences for alerts and notifications.
• Collaborate with the team to understand requirements and implement solutions.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing and adherence to architectural patterns.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in native Android development. Technical Skills:

• Kotlin
• XML Layout and Views
• Unit testing
• Custom views
• Jetpack Compose components
• MVVM architecture
• Gradle

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with asynchronous models such as Coroutines or RxJava.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
