Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do Every Day

  • Message Review & Removal: Monitor live chat streams, identify messages that breach community guidelines, and promptly delete or edit them to maintain a clean conversation flow.
  • User Enforcement Actions: Apply appropriate sanctions—muting, temporary bans, or permanent bans—based on the severity and frequency of rule violations.
  • Report Investigation: Receive, assess, and act upon user‑submitted reports of misconduct, ensuring each case is handled fairly and transparently.
  • Rule Clarification & Education: Communicate the server’s rules clearly to members, offering guidance on acceptable behavior and answering policy‑related questions.
  • Community Support: Assist members with technical or procedural queries, fostering a welcoming atmosphere that encourages participation.
  • Data Logging & Feedback: Document moderation actions in a shared log, provide insights on recurring issues, and suggest improvements to the moderation framework.
  • Collaboration with the Moderation Team: Coordinate with fellow moderators and arenaxflex staff to align on policy updates, escalation procedures, and community events.

Essential Qualifications – What We Require

  • Minimum age of 18 years at the time of application.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent educational credential.
  • Demonstrated experience (paid or volunteer) in online community moderation, customer support, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Discord’s interface, moderation bots, and community management tools.
  • Strong written communication skills with an ability to convey policies clearly and courteously.
  • Excellent judgment, discretion, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Reliable internet connection, a quiet workspace, and the flexibility to work during various time zones as needed.

Compensation & Benefits
