[Remote] Business Systems Senior Analyst

They are seeking a Business Systems Senior Analyst to support stakeholders by translating complex business needs into effective system solutions, ensuring the stability and continuous improvement of enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead collaboration with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document complex system requirements related to configuration changes, enhancements, integrations, and ongoing operational support
- Perform advanced analysis of system functionality and end-to-end business processes; develop and maintain detailed process flow, system interaction, and impact analysis documentation as needed
- Serve as a senior point of contact for investigating escalated or high-priority system issues, providing root cause analysis and recommended solutions
- Partner with external vendors and internal technical teams to coordinate system changes, troubleshoot issues, and support product upgrades or releases
- Support intake, prioritization, and ongoing management of system-related work items within a Kanban-based workflow, with emphasis on risk, urgency, and business impact
- Maintain oversight of the system work backlog, ensuring high-priority items, defects, and enhancements are clearly defined, sequenced appropriately, and progressing efficiently
- Lead or support system maintenance activities, configuration updates, testing coordination, and validation efforts for complex or high-impact changes
- Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to less senior analysts and contribute to the improvement of systems analysis standards and practices
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's or equivalent training
- At least three (3) years of Business Analyst experience. Must include experience working within a high performing reporting team
- Strong understanding of business applications and underlying system data flows, with the ability to analyze system behavior and impacts of configuration changes
- Proven ability to gather, document, and maintain business and system requirements related to application configuration, enhancements, and operational support
- Advanced understanding of business applications, system architecture, and data flows, with the ability to assess downstream impacts of configuration and system changes
- Demonstrated expertise in eliciting, documenting, and managing complex business and system requirements across multiple stakeholders
- Strong vendor management and collaboration skills, including the ability to communicate requirements, track deliverables, and resolve issues with internal and external partners
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including leading root cause analysis for escalated or cross-system issues
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and high-impact work items in a Kanban or flow-based environment
- Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating with stakeholders and leadership at all levels of the organization
- Strong understanding of change management, governance, and compliance with company policies and procedures
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, operationally critical environment
- Basic use of computer, telephone, internet, copier, fax, and scanner
- Basic touch 10 key skills
- Basic Math skills
- Understand and comply with company policies and procedures
- Basic knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience supporting healthcare, revenue cycle management (RCM), or financial systems strongly preferred
