[Remote] Agency Growth Coach

ICA Insurance Education is a leading Master Agency within the SIAA network, seeking a highly collaborative Agency Growth Coach to support the growth of independent member agencies across Colorado and portions of California. The role involves serving as a strategic advisor and mentor to agency owners, helping them transition to independent agency ownership and develop growth strategies in Commercial Lines.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary growth advisor for assigned member agencies (ISMs) throughout the territory
  • Facilitate onboarding and implementation for all new member agencies, with a particular focus on startup and scratch agencies
  • Coach agencies on strategies to increase Personal & Commercial Lines production, profitability, operational efficiency, and long-term agency value
  • Help agencies transition from producer or captive environments into independent agency ownership and growth models
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions focused on growth planning, pipeline development, lead generation, agency operations, and production goals
  • Utilize growth scorecards and KPI tracking to help agencies identify opportunities and measure progress
  • Maintain consistent engagement with assigned agencies, ensuring minimum touchpoints are met quarterly while fostering ongoing strategic dialogue
  • Act as a trusted resource for agencies expanding into Commercial Lines production
  • Guide agencies on prospecting strategies, niche development, commercial workflows, and operational best practices
  • Promote participation in ICA and SIAA Commercial Lines education and training resources
  • Assist agencies in identifying opportunities to consolidate business with Strategic Partner Companies (SPCs)
  • Help agencies understand the market access opportunities and carrier relationships within the SIAA ecosystem
  • Advise agencies on operational best practices, including: Agency workflows and SOP development, CRM and drip campaign utilization, lead generation and marketing initiatives, technology adoption and optimization, agency management system implementation and troubleshooting, staffing and producer growth strategies
  • Help connect agencies with external business resources when appropriate, including accounting, financing, operational, or vendor partners
  • Collaborate with agencies to improve organization, accountability, and execution
  • Work closely with ICA recruiting, training, education, marketing, and leadership teams to support agency growth initiatives
  • Maintain detailed coaching notes and follow-up documentation within internal systems and workflows
  • Participate in regular mentoring, collaboration, and territory review meetings
  • Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders regarding agency opportunities, challenges, and resource needs
  • Embrace a highly collaborative, team-oriented culture centered around supporting agency success

Skills

  • 5+ years of insurance industry experience required
  • Strong Commercial Lines Property & Casualty knowledge required
  • Strong consultative communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to coach, mentor, influence, and problem-solve with agency owners
  • High level of organization and follow-through
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment
  • Resourceful, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Strong multitasking and project management capabilities
  • Comfortable leveraging technology and learning new systems and platforms
  • Property & Casualty License required
  • Ability to travel periodically throughout the assigned territory
  • Experience working within independent insurance agencies strongly preferred
  • Prior agency ownership, agency management, or agency operations experience highly preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce, Asana, EZLynx (or agency management systems) preferred, but not required
  • Experience supporting startup or high-growth environments preferred
